  • Algebraic Geometry: complex homogeneous manifolds, deformation theory and moduli spaces, K3 surfaces and Calabi-Yau manifolds, Mirror Symmetry.
  • Rigidity Theory and Kinematics: linkages, robot arms and periodic frameworks, with applications to Robotics, Mathematical Crystallography and Materials Science.
  • Discrete, Convex and Computational Geometry: line transversals, algorithms for singular and extremal configurations, enumerative problems.
