I am an assistant professor of mathematics at Iowa State University. My research is primarily concerned with commutative and computational algebra and algebraic geometry. My advisor was Sankar Dutta. Previously I held positions at the University of California-Riverside, MSRI and Rider University.

March 2017: Irena Swanson's article appeared in the Notices of the AMS describing the conference in honor of Craig Huneke as well my joint talk with Irena Peeva announcing counterexamples to the Eisenbud-Goto Conjecture.

March 9-11, 2017: Invited Speaker at Spring Lecture Series at the University of Arkansas.
